Tuesday
We've had a post about our pet peeves, so I thought that we'd flip the post today and talk about those fun surprises that make us happy. What do I mean? Well, for example: How much do you love it when you put on a jacket that you haven't worn in awhile, put your hand in the pocket, and pull out money? How great is it when you get a call/email from a friend that you haven't heard from in a long time? Those are the types of happy surprises that I mean. What are some of those small events that really make your day?

I like getting letters in the mail. It is always so exciting to open the mailbox and see there is one for me. I REALLY like snow days...I like when I have something delicious to pack for lunch. I like when I find something I'd thought I had lost...

I like putting on a pair of jeans or a jacket and finding money in the pocket, even if it's only like two dollars. I also like getting letters in the mail. I like picking out a shirt I haven't worn in a while and putting it on to find out that it looks really nice on me! I love it when I walk in to the barn and discover a new litter of kittens or a bunch of chicks that just hatched! :) Going to bed and then waking up to an unexpected blanket of snow in the morning!! That's a few of the surprises I like. :)
ReplyDeleteI really like when I find money in my pocket. I love when I go to my grandma's house and find cookies and a note that tells me she made them just for me. I like doing secret santa around Christmas because I love finding out who my secret santa was. I like when my dad takes me out to dinner because we usually don't go out to dinner often.
ReplyDeleteI like waking up to a thick blanket of snow, knowing that it is a snow day. I like getting a letter from LR in the mail. I like recieving phone calls from my coaches. I like When my mom goes grocery shopping, and I can't decide what to eat, becuase there are so many options. I like putting on clothes right out of the dryer. I like purposly falling asleep while watching a movie! :)
ReplyDeleteI like walking down the street and finding a 20 dollar bill on the sidewalk with no one around you. I like it when you wake up and there is a foot of snow and you listen to the radio say that your school has no school that day. I don't usually find money in my pocket, but when I do, I like it.
ReplyDeleteI like finishing things. Things like homework or laundary or whatever. I like seeing my boyfriend. I like when I have a lot of e-mails that aren't junk. I like running, and I like seeing my friends/family. I like when I can read a book and fall asleep reading it. I like not having anything to wake up for on Saturdays. And I like Christmas! I also like not starting all my sentences with like.
ReplyDeleteI like it when I am sleeping and I can hear the rain against my roof. I like it when I come home and my mom just went grocery shopping! I like it when its the first snow and the night before everything is brown and when you wake up its white and beautiful! I like it when I don't have homework or anything to do on weekends so that I can just sleep in and enjoy the relaxation. I like it when I have a planned hang out date with a friend and then I look forward to it all day! I like it when I find a new favorite song or youtube video that makes me laugh! I love it when I come to school and find out that it is EGG SALAD day!!! That is a great surprise, because I never look at the lunch menu! I like it when teachers randomly give us a work day!
ReplyDeleteI like finding money anywhere. I like falling asleep while reading a book. I love waking up and finding out it is a snow day. I like receiving emails, letters, phone calls, text from someone I love and haven't talked/seen in a long time. I love when I am are super tired and I can just fall sleep, nothing is stopping me...like sometimes your super tired but you can't sleep because you're at work or school or something. That sucks. I love the feeling of placing really well in dance and we all jump up screaming. I love coming home to a homemade meal. I like coming home during the Christmas season and just the Christmas lights are on in our house. I also like when our house is decked out in Christmas decorations. I love the feeling of being warm. I like going to my grandma's and having a grand ol' time. I like when my house is super clean. I like waking up to a clean room. I like when I find a book I really enjoy and can't stop reading it. I like getting suprises. I like when I finish things and can cross them off my list!

When I ask someone for a piece of gum, and they actually give me one.
When I expect to have normal class, and the teacher gives us a study day.
When I see the most hilarious or awesome thing to take a picture of and I have your camera handy.
When I watch a movie and catch a line you had not heard before.
When I find a new place to explore in a place you have lived in your whole life.
When I wake up at 7 in the morning and remember it is a Saturday.
When I see a cute picture of a Monkey or other cute animal
When I put my Ipod on shuffle and the song that I most want to listen to comes on.
When I come up with a new idea for a game.
When I hear someone make a reference and I instantly know what it is from.
When I find a new bar of chocolate in the kitchen.
Waking up to go to school, but find out that it was closed for the day so you can go right back to sleep. Seeing friends from my old school that I haven’t seen in a couple of years. Listening to my friends talk about something completely random (and off-topic) that it ends up being pretty hilarious. Seeing something in a movie/TV show that is completely unexpected, making you laugh. Waking up to cinnamon rolls waiting on the counter for someone to eat. Finding a stash of candy hidden in your room. Discovering that you have more gum that you thought you did. When mom makes my favorite meal after not having it for ages.

Going shopping and finding a SUPER cute shirt for SUPER cheap.
Having enough time to get hot cappuchino before school.
Doing VERY well at a dance competition, without expecting anything!

Well of course I love it when I find money I did not know I had! I really like it when I will get a text from someone I have not talked to in a long time. Seeing family that I haven't seen in months is always nice too! Besides that there is nothing really, but I do love it when I will just wing it on a test and do good. I try to stay away from doing that though.
