With the Academy Awards just around the corner, let's discuss movies. Do you like to go to the movies or would you rather watch movies at home? What's the last movie you saw in a theater? Do you have any special theater food? Do you remember what movie was the first movie you ever saw in a theater?
My theater food is Junior Mints. For some reason, every time I go to the theater, I get Junior Mints. I don't eat them otherwise, and I can't say that they're even close to a favorite candy of mine, but they're my theater treat. While we were on vacation in Florida over Christmas, we went to see True Grit and, of course, I had to get Junior Mints.

I like going to movies, but they are so expensive! so we rent them a lot, and we might be getting Netflix!! But anyway the last movie I saw was Country Strong last weekend. It was good, but it was sooo depressing. I never get any food when I go to the movies because its all junk food and super expensive.
ReplyDeleteI love going to the movies! I can't remember the last movie I saw, I think it was the movie "The Fighter" with Mark Wahlberg. I love to get popcorn with extra butter and bright crawler eggs. Movies are very expensive and they are a fun treat every once in a while. I watch movies ALL the time at home, I like to fall asleep to them at night. I cannot remember the first movie I saw in theatres, thats wayy to long ago!!

I like going to the movies but I really like to just hanging out with friends and watching a movie with snacks! If I do go to the theater I always think about getting "cookie dough bites" because when I was little my dad would always get those for me at the theater. I think the last movie I saw in theaters was The Social Network.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Sarah; movies are expensive. I usually only go see a movie in theatre if it is one that has a lot of action or one that would be epic and awesome on a big screen. I can't remember the last movie I saw in theatres...
ReplyDeleteI think the very first movie I saw in theatres was Star Wars (The Phantom Menace). I saw it in this awesome theater that was in the city I used to live in. The movie theatre was called Silver City and it was huge!
I eat popcorn when I watch movies. And sometimes animal crackers.
I love going to the movie theatre. The only bad thing about it is the cost to see the movie and the refreshments. But other than that, I would see a movie in the theatre over a movie at home anyday. The last movie that I went to see was The Green Hornet. It was pretty good. When I went to the theatre a long time ago I would get anything except popcorn. It was a time when I didn't really like popcorn so instead I would get nachos and candy. Now, however, when I go to the theatre, I have to have popcorn. I'm not sure what my first movie that I ever went to. It had to have been ten years ago or more.
ReplyDeleteI love going to the movies but not really with boys to much because i don't like them paying for me and also when your nerves or something you don't enjoy the movie. Whenever i go to the theater i always have to have a pop dip and dots and popcorn covered in butter. It just something my dad got me started on. The last movie i seen was the new Harry Potter with my family. I'm not sure what the fisrt movie i went to was but i'm sure it was something funny i love comidies, and sarah is all for the slap stick humor.
ReplyDeleteI love going to movies, its such a good atmoushpere and feeling to sit and watch a movie on an unnaturaly large TV. The last movie I saw was Little Fockers which was good.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite food to eat at the theater is Reeses Pieces. They are so good and I could eat so many. One of the best things is when the theater is completly empty and we can run around and sit anywhere we want. If I had the option I would live in a theater. I think maybe one of the first movies I saw in theaters was Star Wars episode 1. Thats one that I can remember for shure.
I actually don't like going to movies all that much, unless it is one I really want to see right away! They are really expensive and I'd rather rent one and watch it in my comfy bed alone, or if I was with friends be able to talk to them during the movie.

The first movie I saw in theaters might have been the first Harry Potter, but I can't remember.
The last movie I saw in theaters was The Fighter. It was a good movie! Christian Bale did a really good job in it, and of course, so did Mark Wahlburg. :)
I like to go to the movies, but now all the time. It gets expensive. I would rather watch movies at my house.

I love going to movies, but it is really expensive. But, one of my friends works at the theater in Menomonie so if his manager isn't right there, he just gives us free tickets. That makes it a lot better. When I go, I have to get popcorn and a pop. It's just what I do. The first movie I say in a theater was Toy Story 2. I would have been 8 back then.
ReplyDeleteAh the last movie I saw was The Dilema with Vince Vaughn. It was good of course because anything with Vince Vaughn is good! I like to go to movies once in a while though, but not too often. I don't really watch movies at home. I do not have the time, and I would rather take a nap. Yup thats about it.
ReplyDeleteI love going to the movie theater to watch movies! Although I love the theater, I don’t go there often because getting in is a little pricy. I go to, roughly, six movies a year, if there is anything out there that catches my interest. The last movie that I watched at the movie theater was Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I. I watched that movie about five times. It’s that good! Anyway, whenever I go to the movie theater, I always have to have some type of soda (normally Coke), popcorn with lots of nacho cheese, and lots o’ Snickers. And I don’t remember what movie I first saw in the movie theater. I was, like, seven at the time. So … yeah!

ReplyDeleteWatching movies is fun in every kind of way, but it’s always cooler to watch them in the movies.
The last movie I saw in the movie theater was a Swedish movie, and it wasn’t very good.
My absolute favorite movie snack that I have to have every time I go to the movie is snacks, I prefer bacon snacks when they are still warm, uhmm it’s just so good!

I love going to the movies, and I wish it wasn't so expensive. My favorite thing to eat during a movie would have to be popcorn and mike and ikes. I have Netflix, which is a HUGE time kill because I always watch movies and tv shows.
ReplyDeleteI like getting out and going to the movies, however I prefer to save my energy and relax at home to enjoy movies. I like to stay warm under blankets and be able to lay down while watching a movie. Sean was with me when I went to the theatre last, and I don't remember what movie we watched. He loves going to the theatre. Our "thing" is to get a large popcorn with extra butter...and then one of us always goes back to request a lot MORE butter, haha. Oh, and we get Pibb to drink. Sadly, I don't remember the first movie I saw in a theatre.
ReplyDeleteI like going to movies alot! :) The last movie I saw in theates I think was Jacka** 3D but I don't remember for sure. I really like the slushie things you get at theates and the popcorn! I love the popcorn! It's the type of popcorn that I'd eat like a day later too. It's very good:)
