My most rewarding moment has been getting accepted to UWEC. I have worked really hard to earn good grades. I have wanted to go to UWEC for a long time now! When I got the letter I couldn't keep the smile off my face! Now I just hope that I get some scholarships that I have been DILIGENTLY working on. That would be another very rewarding moment of my life.
My first African safari was super rewarding. As our jeep was passing by a herd of elephants, I saw a man crouched about 200 yards away on a hill. He held a gun, and seemed to be waiting until we had passed by so that he could shoot one of the herd. I jumped from the jeep and without anybody else noticing. I carefully approached the man from behind after carefully crawling through the tall grasses. I grabbed the poacher's gun from behind and was proudly guarding him when the jeep drove back, realizing I had gone missing. I felt pretty awesome because I had saved an elephant that day, plus the other animals that the poacher might have killed. Other than that, winning the CVYS concerto competition was pretty great. I worked incredibly hard, and I was very proud of my accomplishment.
The first turkey on rye sandwich that I ever sucessfully made was the most rewarding and exhilarating moment of my life. Some people just underestimate the difficulty of making a good sandwich. There is a certain thickness of mayo that should be spread onto the sandwich at a certain angle and speed. The turkey slabs should be folded a certain way. The lettuce should be cut with a certain type of knife. There are just so many elements involved in the making of a delicious sandwich. The best part of this unforgettable experience was my first bite of the sandwich. Don't Stop Believin' by Journey inexplicably started playing.
The most rewarding moment in my life this far is probably getting into National Honor Society. I worked really hard to get into it. Even though I had good grades before I was in NHS, they still werent good enough. Sohpmore and Junior year, I worked really hard and finally got in. I felt amazing after I got in.
I havnt had a single most rewarding moment in my life. It has been made up on a bunch of awesome little moments. If I had to pick, my acceptance to UWEC made me really happy. Or...finally getting my license was really awesome.
I can't really think of a good moment but one moment that stands out is when I shot my first buck with my bow. I'd passed up a lot of smaller bucks over the course of a couple years. It was also rewarding because we've tried harder to make our property into a better hunting area and on that day, everything was perfect! It was a great day in the whitetail woods.
I would like to think that my greatest moment in life has yet to occur. As of yet, I think that my greatest/most rewarding moment would have been going to Oshkosh last year. It was my first time in a long time that I had gone. So it was the first time that I was truly able to appreciate it, but it was also Glacier Girls first time at Oshkosh. I had been waiting a lot of years to go, but being there last year made it worth the wait.
The most rewarding thing for me was my boss telling all of her bosses what an amazing person I am and then getting a raise and more hours. I absolutely love my job. :))
My most awarding experience was when I delivered coats to Joplin Missouri. It was a project Ted Marris and I worked on for months. We gathered thousands of coats and drove them all the way to Missouri. Handing out the coats to people in need filled me up with an accomplished feeling. All that hard work just to feel like I made a small difference was worth it all.
I didn't really have one experience. It has actually been several accomplishments that I have had with the end of High School. Finding a major I LOVE (Hopefully) Being accepted to a school, Being Dunn County youth optimist of the month, and many other little things like that. It has just been a great time overall.
I think my most rewarding experience would have to be finally deciding where I want to go for college and what I want to do with my life. Getting accepted to Carroll felt SO amazing! I was all smiles and hoy for the next few days. I felt very appreciated when the admissions director took the time to personally call me, reveal I had been accepted and then congradulate me on my acceptance. I have worked hard all my life until and now I know it is all going to pay off when I finally reach my goals. Every day for me these days is rewarding.
When I got to go to the National FFA convention in Indianapolis, Indiana. Four Colfax students went down there on a bus with the surrounding schools. We went to this big convention and did alot of amazing things. It was well worth being in FFA for.
I guess my most rewarding time in my life is right now. I got accepted into the college I want to go to and I have been getting really good grades. I have worked really hard and it is nice to see that it is not for nothing.
I would say my most rewarding activity was getting into NHS. I've worked really hard for my grades all through my high school career, so making it into NHS really made me feel accomplished and like it finally went towards something.
My most rewarding moment/activity is when Mrs. Christenson asked me to go to Dorian. It ment a lot to me because the people that go are the leaders in the choir. I really did not have to work a lot to get there, just by being a leader and positive role model.
Hmmm... I would probably say that my most rewarding experience was making it to dance state my sophomore year. It is so amazing to go to LaCrosse and dance in a huge stadium with everyone watching. Also spending the night down there with my team and sharing that amazing experience with them. I would really hope that as a senior, I will be able to do the same thing.
What has been your most rewarding moment in your life thus far? Did you work really hard for it? How did it make you feel?
