1-13
Oooo! Scary! It's Friday the 13th! Write about the scariest event that's ever happened to you. For instance, when I was ten my mom left my best friend and me home alone. About an hour after she left, we heard a knocking on the front door. When we went to open the door, no one was there. About that time, we heard a knocking on the back door. Again, no one there. Then, there were knockings on the windows, all around the house. We couldn't see anybody, so of course we thought it was a ghost. We were totally freaked out. It turns out it was my practical joker uncle; but for about ten minutes, Georgia and I were sure that we were going to die.

I would have to say the scariest thing that has ever happened to me would have to be my accident. It was the Monday be before Thanksgiving. I was driving the Durango home from school to go hunting. I drifted off the road and over corrected when I went crashing through the woods on the other side. I crashed in the only spot that doesnt have cell phone reception. Luckily two people picked me up and brought me home. That was something I would not do normally but come to find out one of the men farmed my land. It was the scariest thing that has ever happened to me. I cried for three days.
ReplyDeleteRecently, I was sitting home reading Wicked. My parents had left to run some errands. All of a sudden I heard music. I started to freak out. The music stopped, but my heart was still racing. All of a sudden it started again and I couldn't tell where it was coming from, nor did I want to know. So I layed in my bed anxiously waiting my parents arrival. When they got home I told my mom and she started to laughing and said, "I got a singing clock from the Hovde's for Christmas."
ReplyDeleteAnother time my mom, sister, and I were just egtting home from school and there was a white car in our drive way. So we went inside and mom went up the stairs first and said, "Girls wait here there's some one on the deck!" My mom ran to the door and as soon as the guy saw her, he began running down the stairs. My mom hollered so he stopped. The whole while he had his hands in his pocket so mom said, "Please take your hands out of your pockets and what do you need?" He said, "Oh my car is over heating so I need water to cool the engine down." So my mom gave him water and he put it in his back seat and drove off. A week earlier a house across the block had been broken in to!
The strangest event that happened to me occurred a few years ago. One year during the winter season, a guy in a silver car would park off to the side of the township road. He would just sit there with his head over his steering wheel, and he was there during the day as well as the night. Sometimes he would just turn on his lights and idle while we were waiting to get on the bus. After about a week, my mom called the cops to ask about him. They told us that he was wanted, but they would not say anymore about this strange individual. Thus far, we haven't seen him since.
ReplyDeleteMy mom and I were walking through a side street in Minneapolis last year, and a car of rather "rough" men drove up beside us and slowed down. We didn't look at them directly, but they were definitely looking at us. We walked very quickly to a busier street and nothing happened. I had another scary experience last winter. When the moon is really bright, I like to go snowboarding behind my house. I went alone one night and was listening to music. I took my headphones off for some reason and heard noises that sounded similar to wolves or coyotes. I don't really know the difference. I made one more run--straight into the safety of my house.
ReplyDeleteOne night my cousin and I were watching Ghost Adventures on the couch. We were gettng really into and all the lights were off. We asked what we would do if we actually say somehting and we both said run to the bathroom. So, as the show continued to get scarier, something came flying across the screen. Meanwhile that was happening something hit the window behind us very hard. We both flew up as fast as we could and ran to the bathroom freaking out. Come to find out it was just a snow/ice junk that had fallen off the roof and the wind took it.
ReplyDeleteMy mother has been terrified of this hill not too far from my house since she was a kid. Once upon a time this man and woman got married and on their honeymoon the couple went ontop of this hill and the man murderes his wife. Every night at midnight the woman runs down the hill screaming. One night at around 1130pm my mother, brother, and I went and parked at the bottom of the hill. We sat in the dark car and we heard spooky trees creaking and all sorts of haunted noises. At 1150pm the door flew opened and my mother and I screamed til our lungs hurts and my mother got that car moving quicker than I have ever seen a car move! Turns out Keinn opened the door to scare us and it worked! We havd yet to be at the bottom of Spooky hill at midnight.
ReplyDeleteThe scariest thing for me I cant say on here so my like my 3rd scariest thing was when I went to california to stay with someone for a month that I had only met once. I was so scared. thousands of miles away from home, and I never felt so sick to my stomach in my life. It was the worst trip ever. Turned out this person and I didnt really get along. Longest scariest month of my life.
ReplyDeleteWhenever we have a certain subject to write about for a blog, I can never think of something. Like right now, ... I can't even think of anything scary. I don't really think anything THAT scary HAS happened to me. Maybe I am just not thinking hard enough, I don't know? I hate trying think of things on the spot. UGH. Well, I basically think that any time that I am in the dark, I am scared. So whenever the lights go out, is the scariest time for me. Haha
ReplyDeleteWell...umm...well this one time I was at Hayden's house. I just showed up without calling or texting Hayden because I do that a lot. So I came in his house and he wasn't in his room but the light was on downstairs in the basement. So yeah I started walking down the steps and when I got to the bottum, Bob jumped out and scared me! I almost cried. Now Bob does it all the time. I never walk into Hayden's house anymore without knowing where Bob is located.
ReplyDeleteThe scariest thing that had ever happen to me was when I was in Germany two summers ago. We stayed in an awesome small walled in city calls Rothenberg and they had the World’s Largest Christmas store!...Anyway... So Heidi, this other girl and I were walking around looking for ice cream(Which was AMAZING). We were walking to the ice cream shop when 2 German guys and their dog started following us. At one point we lost them, to find they had somehow got ahead of us. They confronted us and was talking to me, and only me, in German, which none of us could understand (Where was Ben?!? He would have been of a lot of help to us!). One of the boy’s hugged me, and then I started screaming and crying because I was sooooo scared! I thought he was going to take me! He let me go peacefully, and kept on saying "traurig" which I found out later means "Sorry". I have no idea why he hugged me, or why they only talked to me and not my sister or the other girl, but it was super scary!
ReplyDeleteI cannot think of a specific time when I was really scared. I have had little incidences where I hear things when I am home alone, but it has not been anything huge.
ReplyDeleteI don't really have a time where I have been really scared. The biggest one was probably when we almost rolled our van. My mom and I were coming home from bloomer and going down the hill just east of seeds and stuff. When we got to the bottom, the van started to fishtail and spun then slid onto the shoulder. It tipped way up on two wheels, but never went over.
ReplyDeleteI'm pretty sure that I've been in a scary situation before, but when I try to recall a specific incident, nothing really comes to mind. I'm not a very superstitious person, so whenever I experience something that could be considered "spooky", I usually just shrug it off. I try to only worry about things that are worth worrying about.
ReplyDeleteMy scariest moment ever is when I had a huge spider on my shoulder. Spiders are my biggest fear ever. Clay told me it was on my shoulder and I whipped off my shirt and ran accross a field.
