Today I had to wait for my bus for twenty minutes. Of course I only ride once a week and today it just had to be freezing and snowing. If the buses are going to be super late then they should delay school, I believe. I felt fantastic this morning until I froze waiting for that smelly strange colored public vehicle. I should not be complaining, but today is a Monday and the last week of my last first semester at high school. I have six days till I am boarding my very first plane ever and taking off to Washington D.C. I am ready for a few days of vacation. Get me out of Colfax, please!
I kind of like this weather. It reminds me of Seattle--sort of. Not that I've ever been to Seattle, but I really want to go. I had a Skype interview with a University of Chicago alum on Friday night. I think that it went well. My interviewer was really nice. Apparently, UChicago has things called "arts passports" that allow their students to go to the Chicago Art Institute, Symphony, Opera, and other art-related things for free (or greatly reduced prices). That's pretty sweet, since the Chicago arts scene is definitely one of the best in the nation. I need to do some research on purple and green non-sulfurous bacteria because they have the potential to produce adenosine triphosphate in anaerobic conditions. I also need to explore the possibility of extracting and concentrating the substance.
I am in the library. Lie.....berry. I like when people say that. I also like chairs with wheels. I like wheels with chairs. It is snowing. We should have at least one snow day this year. I can't believe this blog is working right now. Abby is currently wearing a turtleneck sweater with safety goggles. I am excited for the random letters that I will have to type in when I am done with this blog. Okay. I am done with this blog.
Today I had to wake up and decide I was going to drive to CVTC. I did decide to go to class but the roads were total crap. We made it to class on time is a good thing though. I am so excited to leave for Hawaii on Friday! I have alot of things to pack and homework to bring with me.
Friday I ended up getting a cold so I stayed home and caught up on sleep. Then Saturday I still didn't feel the best, but I had to teach swimming lessons. After swimming lessons I babysat. The little boy I was babysitting had the flu so the mom had to come home early. I just hope I don't get the flu now. I hate the flu. Yesterday I read Wuthering Heights and worked at the Bloomer pool. This morning Heather and I got up early and had to drive all the way to Eau Claire on these icky roads. I'm just glad our professor is fun!
I took a day off work, Finally… And I had a blast, This whole weekend went by really fast. I wore my favorite jeans, Had friends at my new place, Then went out to dinner with my boyfriend, Who thought it would be cool to show off his bass. Never again will I let him drive, Calling and texting On his new droid… Maniac, maniac, maybe Im just paranoid? But we had lots of fun It felt good to get out I thought for sure School was closed no doubt. But my phone went off this morning It was my alarm to wake up I threw my phone into the other room, And went back to sleep. But not even 10 minutes later, “beeeeeeep” “beep” “beeeep!” I got up to hit the snooze button, And went back to sleep. Finally I woke up, Thought for sure we didn’t have school, But then I looked outside and seen some walking fools. Who may I ask? Be crazy enough to walk, If I had no car, I wouldn’t be going far. But besides the fact, that I wish I was asleep, I had a great weekend, And the memories I will keep.
My weekend felt like it was fairly short. Maybe it was because I am not to excited for this week. The roads were pretty iffy today, so I am quite content that I did not drive. I do have quite a number of tests this week.
Blogger just cannot decide if it wants to work for me or not. It seems that it only works on the laptops in the library. I got all of my research projects for the rest of the year in Social Problems. I do not know what I am going to do for the first one, it has to do with health. We have to write a minimum of 15 pages on one project...I have a feeling the rest of the year is going to go by in a blur because I am going to be super busy.
Ugh, well Blogger is just getting me mad! one day it works, another it does not! but anyway, Mrs.Zutter is telling me something to do, so I should do it!
Well the blog is actually working finally! I had a really good weekend, but I wish it would have snowed more. I;t january in Wisconsin, we should have like 3 feet of snow right now...I can't do anything about it though, so I'll just enjoy what we have.
I had a great weekend. I already started my research paper. (Yay) I was home yesterday because of an appointment and I finally got a car. Hooray for no more granny mobile! I can't believe it's already almost the end of the semester, but yet I'm suppppppppper excited for how fast May is approaching. ! : )
My blog was not working so it is not Monday, its Wednesday. I am sitting in computer apps with nothing to do because I already finished my work. Today is not a good day. Its one of those days where I feel like the world hates me. I really dont want to be here. I just want to be at home, laying in bed, sleeping!
I have never been sick or feeling this weak for such a long time. It feels like I can't get better. It's frustrating because I don't have any energy to do anything. My blog finally started to work so I'm catching up:)
Generally I would write about my weekend, but considering that it is already Friday, I can't even remember what I did last weekend. So.. THIS WEEKEND, I have Dance Regionals. To be honest, I am not really sure how I feel about it. I'm not all that excited or as pumped as I usually am.. Which I knew would happen. This year has been very different for us and we haven't done as well as we usually do. I think a mixture of that and just wanting to be done with school completely has just made me "blah" about everything.
I need a new job. That's all I can think about right now. I hate my job now. Boo Monday.
