Happy Winter Carnival week! It's Monday, so free write. If you're stuck, write about your favorite commercial from last night's game.

  1. I honestly think that the Super Bowl was not the most important thing on television this weekend because BON IVER WAS ON SNL! They were so good. I loved seeing local guys on that hallowed stage. It was so cool. I watched it again on Sunday. I watched part of the Super Bowl and was happy that the Giants won. I <3 NY. I totally missed seeing the guy flip everybody off at the halftime show, though, which is disappointing. The projections were faaaaabulous. I watched Madonna's new music video and was pretty annoyed at the Adidas logos on Nicki Minaj's shirt/ top thing. I haven't figured out whether or not that was supposed to be subliminal advertising or outright advertising. Either way, I feel like it made even Madonna seem overcommercialized.

  2. So I had the most amazing week at Washington DC! Tara and I walked about 8 hours a day! There were so many things to see and do! The Holocaust museum was probably my favorite, because it was so deep and moving. I also ice skated for the first time ever, it was bad but good thing I was in a different state to embarrass myself! It was super heart braking to arrive home late Friday night. It is not that Colfax is bad, it is just that Washington DC was super exciting and wasn't harsh reality. I cannot wait to go back again! My weekend was icky though since I got to spend most of it in the hospital! Oh well, it can only get better and better from here! :)

  3. I didn't really watch the superbowl. I got up to go to the bathroom at one point and I walked past the tv on the way and saw that the patriots were winning. I was sick, so I didn't really care. I'm still sick, and I still don't care, and I don't really want to be here right now. I just promised myself this hour that if I feel even slightly worse than I do right now throughout the remainder of the school day, I will be going home.

  4. I dont know what to write about. I am upset that it is our last winter carnival. The Superbowl was not the greatest. It was really stupid actually, especially the halftime show.

Sunday my youth group had a superbowl party. I loved the commercials. I want to buy a dog and name it wego! The M&M commercial with the brown M&M was probably my favorite. It was hilarious. I am excited for the rest of the week. I LOVE winter carnival! I am especially excited for wednesday. Woohoo senior blackout!

  6. Of course I watched the Super Bowl, but right after was... THE VOICE!!!!!!!!!! I love the voice soooooooooooo much! I love American Idol, but personally I think The Voice is better since the additions are completely blind so the judges can’t ‘judge’ them on their looks, only there voice. And the judges are Amazing! I love Blake Shelton soooooooooo much! :) ok that’s a lot of 'I love...' in this paragraph, but it is because I LOVE The Voice!!!

  7. I had a pretty good weekend. Saturday I slept in, then went to EC, then went and saw my grandma. On sunday I went to church, relaxed, and watched the super bowl. I think the chevy commercial was really dumb, because I like fords. The m&m commercial was probably my favorite. Everybody burst out laughing when we saw it.

  8. Well... To start off with I had an amazing weekend. Things are finnally starting to get better for me. My boyfriend was over most of the weekend. He took me out for breakfast saturday morning in menomonie, and I had something called coutry fried steak...BUT ITS NOT STEAK! I do not care what anyone says, its not steak. It tasted like fried chicken. Eaither way, what ever its name is, it was amazingly delicious. I finally got my dresser at my apartment. Ive only been there a few months without one :) not like I like to use it anyway. I prefer everything to be on the floor because then I know where everything is. Overall, I had a great weekend. I am just glad that things are finally working out and not just that but I am happy. Its not everyday I can say that.

  9. Firday I went to the Basketball game and babysat coach Krall's daughter, Brooklyn. She is adorable. On Saturday I went to FBLA regionals. Meghan and I got 5th. She almost fell on the stage in front of everyone, they were all laughing. On Sunday I did homework and went to work. I watched a little bit of the Super Bowl, but it didn't excite me very much so I fell asleep. I might go to Wausau to meet my sister tonight so that's exciting. I'm glad it's a four day week.

  11. My weekend was alright. The weather has been really nice, but now the driveway is not very fun to drive through. I think that my favorite commercial was the Pepsi commercial in the kingdom. I do wish that there was another team that was playing the Super Bowl, other then the Giants.

  14. Free write. I just got back from Hawaii on Saturday afternoon. It was a blast and I saw so many awesome new things that we do not have here. It was also very very warm down there. It felt so good to wear flip flops and shorts. We swam with the dolphins, visited the volcanoes, went to the beach, and had a wedding. I would go back to Hawaii in a heart beat and would recommend that anyone who is thinking about going to do it.

  16. Well, considering that I am very late on this blog post, I will write about my break. So far, my break has been fairly monotonous. I haven't done much because I had to work both Saturday and Sunday 10-4, which is completely fine with me, though, because I need $$$. However, after I worked on Sunday, I left for the Minneapolis... Which is where I currently am. I'm so happy that I was able to come up because I really hate Colfax. I don't know what it is, but the cities are just so much more appealing to me - there is so much going on allll the time! I can't wait to move here.
